Ministry

Jesus did not come to be served but to serve…Matt. 20:28

SMMBC seeks to create opportunities for the believer to exercise their gifts through serving the body of Christ as well as serving the community. Our ministries are not limited to the church building but we are seeking individuals who will be led of God to impact lives under the mission of the church which is to grow, glow, and go in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Growth

The Bible admonishes us to grow in the Grace and Knowledge of Jesus Christ…2 Pet. 3:18

SMMBC seeks to engage it’s members in Bible Studies, Sunday School lessons, and Preaching that challenges, instructs, rebukes, and edifies the whole person.

Fellowship

The Bible admonishes us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves…Heb. 10:25

SMMBC is a place where we seek to make all feel welcomed and loved; it’s a place where everyone belongs as we seek to worship, walk, and love one another in the bonds of peace through Jesus Christ.

Community

Jesus commanded us to go into all the world….Matt. 28:19-20

SMMBC isn’t just a building but a body of believers who are looking to impact our community. We love our community and want to share what God is doing by engaging in community events and creating opportunities where church and community interact. It’s been difficult with the pandemic but by God’s Grace; we will be able to make things happen in the community.
